Re: First Olympus m43 body?

Could be real, but the 12mm f2.8 with a 52mm filter diameter seems a huge stretch. I expect mFT WA's to be smaller, but still. And I expect Panasonic to lead. An Oly camera lens combo at Photokina would surprise. Remember, Ian visited Pany primarily.

Not too long to wait now.

Re: First Olympus m43 body?

There seems to be some romantic attachement to the 1923 look of the original Leica. As one who has used auxillary viewfinders for more years than I care to count, I can say that the romance quickly wears off. These finders are seldome accurate since the FOV of a lens varies with focus distance. They are estimates at best. Unless someone makes a wired one, they will not tell you when focus is locked or any of the shooting parameters.
I can't see MFT making a Sigma DP-1 clone or going retro to 1923.

I'd rather see an attachable EVF.
