Lightroom 3 Beta luminance noise reduction issue

Hi folks,

I've been using LR3 beta for a while now (64 bit version on Windows 7 64 bit) but have just discovered a strange problem with the Luminance noise filter. When processing E3 RAW files the luminance control is greyed out and can't be adjusted - but only on RAW files that haven't had any processing already, in the RAW files that have been previously processed in LR2 the luminance control can be adjusted - bizarre.

Can anyone elase confirm this, I wondering if this is unique to my installation or an issue with LR3 that I should notify Adobe of.

Aha I just found out why

"The Luminance slider has been voluntarily deactivated by Adobe because they want the users/testers to concentrate on giving feed back about color noise."

LR3 is only in Beta and they have intentionally greyed that slider out Paul.
