Re: Can you "tether" an E-1 to an iPad?

I used the video output on an Olympus E-410 (a later, lower model than the E-1), but I never tried taking pictures while it was connected to the TV. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work,...

Re: Can you "tether" an E-1 to an iPad?

James is talking about the E-1, i.e. the original 4/3 camera, not the new OMD E-M1. The E-1 predates wifi in cameras by many years.

Re: Speedbooster for gh4

I assume you're looking at this speedbooster? http://www.metabones.com/products/details/MB_SPEF-m43-BM2

If so, the focal length multiplier is 0.71X. This will be the same for any lens you use, no...

Re: Can you "tether" an E-1 to an iPad?

The best solution to viewing photos on an iPad may be one of Apple's camera adapters: http://store.apple.com/us/accessories/all-accessories/digital-cameras. Note that there are several versions,...

Great Smoky Mountains - Cataloochee

A couple of weeks ago, I took a little camping trip to the Cataloochee area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I went to the same place in the autumn of 2013, and it was interesting to see what...

Re: Looking for advice on walking around with large lenses

I generally use an Optech sling strap attached to the bottom of the battery grip on my E-M5 (the grip has a metal post on the bottom that was designed to attach one end of an Olympus hand grip). I...

Re: Two new Olympus Pro lenses plus accessories

Holy cow, US$1000/800 Euros for a fisheye! I'm sure it's a great lens, but that's more than three times what I paid for my Samyang. Will they sell many at that price?

Re: 6 Weeks NZ & Fiji by a former Pentax user

Thanks for sharing your experiences and photos, Bert! I'm glad the E-M5 II (mostly) worked so well for you.

I'm not quite sure I understand your issue with the program mode. The E-M5 II can...

Great job capturing the duck and geese. The kingfishers are nice too. It's too bad they're so small! We need that upcoming 300mm f/4 . . .

Re: Tortoiseshells

The 40-150 did very well, I'd say, and the processing looks good to me. Were these with the teleconverter? (The EXIF data report 190 and 210 mm.)
