Re: Is something wrong with my eyes?
Hi Annie,
Have you tried one quick and easy test with your E-3? Try taking some photos using Autofocus, then take a bunch of photos using manual focus and compare them. If the AF photos are soft...

Re: Has Sony gone too far?
I agree with John. There are far more m4/3 lenses I would love to have than I can afford.
For a full professional system it's still a little behind, but really only in one area - fast super-tele....

Sorry Rogerio, but I've never heard nor experienced anything like that before with the E-PL2. :(
It's actually going very well, Barry! :D Grand Opening went well, and I'm branching out into...

Re: Is an Olympus Zuiko 14-54 II lens a good match for an E-620?
I think they're both great lenses each with their own advantages. The 12-60mm is a little sharper around the corners and has the extra wide angle (if you don't mind the barrel distortion). The...

Re: Do you have an E-PM1
Well, before they make teleconverters they need to have work on having a more complete lens collection. In particular super telephoto lenses, as those are the most commonly used with teleconverters....

Re: E-PL2, First Impressions
Good to hear you're satisfied with the AF on your 4/3 lenses, Rogerio! I still use many 4/3 lenses on my PEN cameras (my current favorites are the Minis but I still use and love my E-PL2!). I tend to...

Re: E-620 lenses on the new OM D E-5
Yes, these lenses are beautiful on the Micro Four-Thirds system. I wouldn't rely on AF though... Manual Focus will be faster in most instances, in experienced hands. Of course, that's coming from...

- If you don't see the Sprockets menu, then first go to Setup => Wrench => Menu Display and turn the Sprockets ON.
- Go into Setup => Sprockets => Color/WB => Keep Warm Colors and turn that OFF. As...

Re: Do you have an E-PM1
I'd just wait until they develop a real teleconverter for the Micro Four-Thirds system. One that fits between the body and the lens, and usually comes in two forms - 1.4x magnification with 1 EV...

Re: Do old flashes work with the gh2?
If you're going to be using wireless triggers then you'll be fine. Radio or optical will work. Just set flash to manual on both speedlight and camera.

Safe Sync is technically the name of the Wein version, but is pretty generically used. If you go to your local camera shop and tell them you need a Safe Sync, they'll probably just pull out the...

Re: Old Flash
If it's safe for the E-510 it'll be safe for the E-5. Technically you should try to use a Safe Sync (steps down the voltage to safe levels, and avoids feedback) with non-dedicated flash though, just...

Re: Kiron 105mm - Ring flash / other options?
I have this lens, but I use regular flash. The best thing about a longer focal length like 105mm for macro, is the greater working distance to allow the use of "normal" lighting. A ring flash or...

Re: Some lenses worth waiting for.
Two points for the prime set...
1) f/2.8 may be "fast enough", but f/1.8 is 1.5 stops faster. :) That's 2.5x the shutter speed, and better DOF control.
2) The m.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 is being...

Re: Just bit the bullet and purchased an E-PL3 twin lens kit - Have I done the right thing???
Good choice!
You now have a very good focal range coverage in zoom lenses, but with slow lens speed. For kit zooms these are also very sharp lenses, though of course there are a lot...

Question 2: Any manual flash will work, as long as the trigger voltage is safe (under 6V). If in doubt, use a Safe Sync to step down the voltage to under 6V, or else use an optical triggering device...

Re: Extra lenses. . . . .
The m.Zuiko 17mm/2.8 is always compared to the Lumix 20mm/1.7 because those were the first two pancakes made for the system. It's true that the Lumix is somewhat sharper and faster, but the thing...

Re: which legacy lenses use the smallest adapters for M4/3?
The J-3 is said to be even more hit-and-miss with quality. However, since antman seems to like the ultra-fast speeds, I think the Jupiter-3 would be the better choice by far. But then, I wouldn't...

Panasonic is coming up with constant f/2.8 aperture versions, and I think that will be plenty fast enough for Micro Four-Thirds. As you say, we don't want to go unnecessarily big with such a small...

Re: E-3 weatherproofing with 50-200+EC14
The EC-14 actually makes a wonderful weather sealed base for swapping between other sealed lenses in nasty weather or high dust/sand areas. Because it keeps the body sealed, you can still change...
